Before becoming a plastic surgeon, Dr. Adam Hamawy was a combat trauma surgeon in the U.S. Army and served a tour of duty in Iraq. His experience with combat casualties led him to pursue plastic surgery to fulfill the intense need not only to save lives but to restore a natural appearance and quality of life. Dr. Hamawy trained with some of the foremost surgeons in the world at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Dallas and Cornell's New York Presbyterian Hospital.
Dr. Hamawy currently practices in Princeton, New Jersey where he uses a balanced holistic approach to enhance a healthy lifestyle integrating a nutritional diet, exercise and plastic surgery. Focusing on results rather than specific procedures or technology every treatment plan is a collaboration between the doctor and patient.
Dr. Hamawy is an international speaker and has authored peer reviewed journal articles and book chapters. His surgical interests are facial and body aesthetics and migraine reduction procedures.
