Dr. Junghyun Kim

Plastic surgeon
Seoul Derma Korea – Wellness & Cosmetics, Kuwait

As a professional surgeon in the field of aesthetic surgery, I have worked in clinics and hospitals within and around “Gang-nam” also known as “K-beauty zone” in Seoul, Korea. This enables me to be up close to current trends and needs and to quickly adapt. Also, by attending medical conferences and studying the newest advances in the field, I keep up to update my skills and knowledge to new techniques and procedures. With the concern of education and responsibility to junior doctors, I have joined many international forums, symposiums and hands-on sessions as the speaker to share with others, especially foreign doctors.

The patients who come to me for aesthetic procedures have very personal and specific requirements which need both surgical and non-surgical treatment. I take my work very seriously in order to carefully fit the needs of each of my clients to reach the desired result. I am very skillful in applying the latest authorized procedures in a way that results in a more natural looking appearance for my patients. I am able to help them build self-confidence and improve their self-image. I am thoroughly qualified and highly experienced not only in every plastic surgery technique but also in non-surgical procedures in a wide range of ages, and different nationalities. I have also worked in collaboration with several clinics in China specializing in revisional operations and difficult cases that pose a challenge as well as providing up-to-date procedures such as thread lift. For the past two years I have acted as the Key doctor for the Thread lift product that I designed and have successfully applied this in the field. I have done lectures regarding this procedure on numerous occasions for my peers.

Finally, I am a member of the Korean Association of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. In addition, I am a proud member of the Korean Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the Korean Society for Microsurgery. My vast experience in the field also granted me to become a member of the Korean Society for Hand Surgery as well as being part of IPRAS (International Confederation for Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery).
